Circuit Park Zandvoort, a purpose-built motor racing facility, opened in 1948, making it one of the oldest permanent circuits in the Netherlands. Nestled within the expansive coastal dunes of Zandvoort, the original track was designed by John Hugenholtz, utilizing the natural undulations of the landscape. While its foundational character as a fast, flowing circuit remains, the space has undergone significant modernisations, notably in preparation for its return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021.
