While architecturally significant from the waterfront, primary pedestrian entry points for most attendees are situated along Dolmabahçe Caddesi, running parallel to the Bosphorus on the stadium's inland side. Replacing the venerable İnönü Stadium on the same site, the hall accommodates approximately 42,590 spectators across predominantly tiered seating bowls, offering extensive sightlines to the central pitch.
Given its scale and open-air construction, primarily featuring hard concrete and steel surfaces, the acoustic profile of the stadium is characteristic of large-scale modern sports and concert venues.
