Opened in July 1995, The Meadows Music Theatre, currently known as Xfinity Theatre, is a large-scale outdoor amphitheater located on the banks of the Connecticut River in Hartford. The primary performance area consists of a covered pavilion offering around 7,500 reserved seats, while the vast majority of the audience capacity, some 22,500 spots, is situated on a gently sloped general admission lawn extending behind the pavilion.
