Several Metrobus routes serve The Wharf area directly or connect via L'Enfant Plaza. Key routes include the 74 and D4, with stops conveniently located along Maine Avenue SW, adjacent to The Anthem.

Multiple underground parking garages are available within The Wharf development, including the Wharf Parking Garages (Parcels 1, 7, and 8). These garages are typically within a 5 to 10-minute walk of the venue. Fees are standard for downtown D.C. parking, and advance booking via online platforms is highly recommended for evening events to secure a spot and potentially reduce costs.

The Anthem is committed to providing an accessible experience for all visitors. The venue features step-free access at all main entrances, and lifts are available to access different levels. Designated wheelchair-accessible seating areas are available throughout the auditorium, offering excellent views of the stage. Accessible toilet facilities are located on each level, equipped to cater to a range of needs. For those with hearing impairments, induction loop systems are in operation at the main box office and at selected points within the venue. Assistance dogs are welcome, and water bowls can be provided upon request. While specific service animal facilities are not extensive, staff are trained to offer support.
