About Supra Music Hall: Layout, History & Architecture
Supra Music Hall, a distinctive example of late-modernist architecture, opened its doors in 2008 along Sevilla's Guadalquivir waterfront. Conceived with an industrial aesthetic, the structure primarily utilises exposed concrete, steel, and expansive glass, presenting a bold, contemporary profile. With a total capacity of approximately 2,800, the space is predominantly configured for standing audiences on its expansive main floor, which can accommodate around 2,200 patrons. A single, tiered balcony at the rear offers an additional 600 seated positions, providing an elevated perspective of the stage.
Sightlines from the main floor are generally good, though the experience of stage proximity can vary significantly with crowd density in a full house. The balcony provides unobstructed, if more distant, views. Acoustically, the hall's hard, reflective surfaces inherently create a lively and somewhat reverberant environment. Consequently, the sonic experience relies heavily on its comprehensive, multi-array PA system, which is meticulously calibrated to project sound with clarity and mitigate the space's natural resonance, ensuring a powerful and immersive audio delivery.
The Live Experience & Current Schedule
Entering the hall from its river-facing frontage, guests are welcomed into a spacious foyer featuring multiple bars strategically placed to manage pre-show and interval traffic efficiently. The transition from the foyer into the main performance area is fluid, leading directly to the standing pit. Here, the atmosphere is typically energetic and communal, with direct proximity to the stage. For those preferring a more relaxed experience, the tiered balcony offers a comfortable, seated vantage point away from the main floor's intensity. With 3 live performances scheduled, upcoming entry prices start from £92.89. The next confirmed event on the calendar is María Escarmiento on 6th November 2026.
