Signal Iduna Park

The nearest light rail (Stadtbahn) stops are "Stadion" (U45), which is directly adjacent to the stadium, and "Westfalenhallen" (U45, U46), located an approximate 7-minute walk south-east along Strobelallee. For mainline rail, Dortmund Hauptbahnhof (Dortmund Hbf) requires a transfer to the U45 or U46 Stadtbahn lines; walking from the Hauptbahnhof is not practical due to the distance of approximately 4 kilometres.

Key bus routes serving the area include the 450 line, with stops such as "Stadion Rote Erde" and "Westfalenhallen" within a 5-10 minute walk. On event days, DSW21 (Dortmund's public transport operator) often deploys special event services to and from the stadium, connecting various parts of the city.

Several large paid parking areas surround the venue. Notable options include the extensive "Messe Westfalenhallen Parkplätze" (P1-P8), accessible via Maurice-Vast-Straße and Strobelallee, and "Parkplatz C1/C2" directly off Strobelallee. Demand is exceptionally high for major events, leading to significant congestion. Advance booking of parking spaces is strongly recommended, where available, to ensure availability and potentially faster entry.

Entry points are distributed strategically around the stadium perimeter, with specific gates often designated on tickets. Patrons should expect thorough bag checks and security screenings, including metal detectors. Large bags are generally prohibited or subject to strict size restrictions. To allow ample time for security procedures, finding your designated entry point, and navigating to your seat or standing area, it is advisable to arrive at least 60-90 minutes prior to the advertised start time of the event.
