The SEC Centre, part of the wider Scottish Event Campus on the north bank of the River Clyde, first opened its doors in 1985. Designed as a large-scale exhibition and conference venue, its architectural style is a pragmatic expression of late-20th century modernism, featuring a robust composition of steel, glass, and concrete.
