Originally constructed in 1920 as the King's Cross Cinema, this venue exhibits a distinguished Art Deco architectural lineage, adapted for modern live performance. Designed by George Coles, the building's facade on Pentonville Road retains elements of its cinematic past. Following its tenure as an independent repertory cinema, the space underwent conversion in 1999 to become a multi-purpose live music and club venue. The main auditorium accommodates approximately 1,100 standing patrons, featuring a substantial flat floor area that extends towards the stage. Above this, a tiered balcony at the rear offers elevated views and a distinct perspective on the performance.
