About Revi Live: Layout, History & Architecture

Revi Live occupies a converted industrial warehouse originally constructed in 1968, situated in Madrid's Delicias district. Reimagined and opened as a live performance venue in 2017, the architecture leans into an Industrial Modernist aesthetic, characterized by its exposed concrete walls, steel structural elements, and a deliberately utilitarian design that prioritizes function. The auditorium features a large, flat standing floor capable of accommodating up to 2,000 patrons, which transitions into an elevated rear standing platform for improved sightlines. Above this, a more intimate fixed-seating balcony offers space for approximately 250, providing a distinct viewing experience.

Sightlines from the main standing floor are generally clear towards the centrally positioned stage, though patrons positioned at the extreme sides of the front may experience some peripheral obstruction depending on stage design. The elevated rear platform and the balcony provide unobstructed views across the stage. Acoustically, the hall's concrete and steel surfaces mean the sound profile relies heavily on advanced sound reinforcement systems and skilled engineering. Without these, the inherent reflectivity of the hard materials could lead to a less defined sound. The venue's design prioritizes a high-energy, direct sonic experience, rather than natural acoustic diffusion.

The Live Experience & Current Schedule

Entering Revi Live involves a clear process, with dedicated queues for general admission and any pre-booked balcony tickets. The spacious foyer provides several well-staffed bars, allowing for efficient service before and between sets. Within the main auditorium, the standing pit can become quite dense during sold-out performances, fostering a close connection to the stage. For those preferring more personal space, the elevated rear platform offers a broader perspective with slightly less congestion, while the balcony provides a comfortable, seated viewing option above the main crowd. The overall atmosphere tends to be vibrant and energetic, particularly for standing events. With 8 live performances scheduled, upcoming entry prices start from £20.64. The next confirmed event on the calendar is Devin Townsend on 9th October 2026.
