Its most significant architectural modernisations occurred in preparation for the 1982 and 2013 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, establishing its current functional and robust aesthetic. The construction predominantly features exposed concrete, steel, and practical design elements engineered to withstand alpine weather conditions and accommodate substantial crowds.
