Constructed in 1901 to a design by Frank Matcham, the Hackney Empire is a notable example of Baroque Revival theatre architecture. The space accommodates approximately 1,275 patrons across its four tiered levels: the Stalls, Dress Circle, Upper Circle, and Gallery.
