The Falkoner Center, located on Frederiksberg's prominent thoroughfare, Falkoner Allé, originally opened its doors in 1958, designed by architect Henning Hansen. The initial structure comprised a theatre, cinema, and hotel. Following a significant fire in the late 1980s, the entire complex underwent a comprehensive rebuild and re-emerged in 1999, integrated within the Radisson Blu Falkoner Hotel. The contemporary design, primarily by PLH Arkitekter, presents a functionalist aesthetic, characterized by clean lines and modern materials, fitting its role as a versatile event and conference space.

The main auditorium, Falkonersalen, is a substantial multi-purpose hall capable of accommodating approximately 2,000 guests in a seated configuration, expanding to up to 3,000 for standing concerts and events. The layout typically features a flat floor space directly in front of the stage, which can be cleared for a standing pit or arranged with removable seating. Towards the rear, the hall incorporates tiered seating sections, providing elevated views. While the modern construction largely avoids structural pillars that might obstruct sightlines, the overall acoustics are typical of a large, adaptable hall; sound clarity heavily relies on a well-engineered, robust PA system to counteract the inherent reverberation of its concrete and glass environment. It functions efficiently as an event venue rather than a purpose-built acoustic marvel.

Those opting for the tiered seating sections benefit from clearer sightlines over the general admission floor, albeit at a greater distance.
