The Capitol in Offenbach am Main, constructed in 1928, exemplifies the "Neue Sachlichkeit" style, a distinctive German architectural modernism. Designed by Alfred Jacobi, it originally opened as a grand cinema before its conversion into a multi-purpose event space.
