His last tour
The Final Encore is billed as Rod Stewart's last tour. The O2 describes it as the culmination of a live career spanning more than six decades, and his own statement leaves little room for doubt: "The time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last."
In the statement he adds: "I've been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I've had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you… I hope you'll join me so I can thank you the best way I know how… with the music and one hell of a show."
In his announcement video, quoted by JamBase, he was just as direct: "after much deliberation and sadness, I have to announce next year will be my last tour ever, ever, ever". He was also clear about what it is not: "I'm not retiring, but this will be the last rock and roll tour." JamBase notes that the announcement followed the cancellation of his remaining 2026 dates after a coronary stent procedure in August.

How the sale went, and the extra nights
Official Charts reported a fan-club presale from Tuesday 29 September 2026, followed by local presales, with remaining tickets going to the general public from Friday 2 October. At launch there were six UK and Ireland dates, with a single London night at The O2 on Tuesday 11 May 2027.
Within a week second nights had been added in Glasgow (Saturday 1 May), Manchester (Saturday 8 May) and London (Friday 14 May), and NationalWorld reported a second Dublin night. NationalWorld wrote that "demand has been such that tickets are already hard to get", and that Live Nation and Ticketmaster were "reporting low availability for a number of shows". We have not seen an official statement that any date has sold out.
Face-value prices for London have not been published. The only figures we found are for Glasgow: Time Out, citing the OVO Hydro, gives regular prices from £78.30 to £220.15 and premium tickets from £278.80 to £318.80.

How many tickets are on StubHub
StubHub publishes how many tickets its sellers have listed for each date. We record that figure, and the cheapest seat, every hour. A falling count does not by itself mean tickets have sold, because sellers also withdraw or reprice listings, but over weeks it shows how much choice is left and whether prices are moving.
At the last check StubHub listed 10,228 tickets across 21 dates.
Priced at the cheapest seat on each date, those tickets come to at least $1,598,169. Most sell above the cheapest seat, so the real total is higher; StubHub does not publish the price of every listing, so we only state the minimum.
Each date, and how it has changed
The table lists every date of the tour that StubHub has tickets for, with the number listed now and the change since the first day we recorded it. The two London nights at The O2 are on Tuesday 11 May and Friday 14 May 2027; The O2 opens doors at 6.30pm with the show at 7.30pm.

Who is supporting
Howard Jones is the support act. Sources differ on how many dates: Official Charts says "support on selected dates" and marks him on the six UK and Ireland launch dates, while Time Out says he supports on all dates. Check the listing for your date if it matters to you.
Before you buy
Resale prices are set by the seller and can sit above or below face value. Because this is a farewell tour, the dates are unlikely to be repeated, which is worth weighing if you are deciding whether to wait. If you would rather wait for the price to fall, the alert on this page emails you when the cheapest seat drops.
