Monday sports events list cheapest, with a typical cheapest ticket of $41.53. Sunday sports events are the dearest, at $60.03: about 45% more.
Monday theater shows list cheapest, with a typical cheapest ticket of $122.88. Wednesday theater shows are the dearest, at $127.68: about 4% more.
Concerts are not shown: some days of the week have fewer than 100 priced shows.

How we measured this
- The data is StubHub resale listings only: the cheapest ticket listed for each show when we last checked it (we check prices every hour). It is not face value, and not what tickets sold for.
- Every upcoming concert, sports event and theater show at a US venue with a listed price, for shows from 30 October 2026 to 13 November 2027, grouped by the day of the week of the show. Each show counts once.
- Each figure is the median of those shows' cheapest prices. A category is shown only when every day of the week has at least 100 priced shows; "about N% more" compares the dearest day's median with the cheapest day's.
- It describes the shows on sale now, not a rule: a particular show's price depends on the act, the venue and how close the date is.
- Prices are in US dollars. A show we track in pounds is converted at that event's own catalogue exchange rate; a show with no usable rate is left out rather than guessed.
- Football matches whose tickets may not legally be resold are left out. Prices are per ticket, before StubHub's booking fees. Updated 30 October 2026.
